MPG Ratings Per Civic Trim

When choosing the right Civic for you, you’ll want to take a look at the differences in fuel economy. Here’s what each Honda Civic trim has to offer in terms of fuel economy rating:

  • Civic LX: EPA-estimated 30 mpg city/38 mpg highway* rating
  • Civic Sport: EPA-estimated 29 mpg city/37 mpg highway* rating
  • Civic EX: EPA-estimated 32 mpg city/42 mpg highway* rating
  • Civic EX-L: EPA-estimated 32 mpg city/42 mpg highway* rating
  • Civic Touring: EPA-estimated 30 mpg city/38 mpg highway* rating

The Honda LX and Sport offer the continuously variable transmission (CVT) in place of the standard 6-speed manual and the EX, EX-L, and Touring trims have the CVT standard. This system helps to heighten the fuel efficiency of your Honda model.

Honda Civic Engines with Eco Assist

The Honda Civic offers two engines including a 158 hp. 2.0L 4-cylinder and a 174 hp, 1.5L turbo 4-cylinder. While both offer promising power on the Monroe roads, they also offer a more fuel efficient drive with the Eco Assist System which:

  • Keeps track of your fuel-efficient driving habits and displays them via a color-changing display. Green means you’re being very efficient. Blue means you’re most likely wasting gas.
  • Allows you to press the ECON button to help change the Civic performance to be more conservative when it comes to fuel.
