What is Honda LaneWatch™ and what does it do? Honda LaneWatch™ works to keep drivers aware of what’s happening on the passenger side of their vehicle. This feature is easy to operate and can be found on many Honda models, from the Civic sedan to the Ridgeline truck. To find out how Honda LaneWatch™ works and the vehicles that offer it, review our quick Honda LaneWatch™ guide!
How does Honda LaneWatch™ work, exactly? Honda LaneWatch™ operates similarly to a blind spot monitoring system. If your vehicle is equipped with this feature, it will come with a camera installed below your right, passenger-side mirror. Images from this camera will be shown on your vehicle’s central display screen. This allows you to easily see your blind spot while you drive. With this, you can change lanes without worry while traveling through Chester and Newburgh. Note: It’s important to mention that Honda LaneWatch™ is a safety enhancement—not a substitute for safe driving.
Activating Honda LaneWatch™ is as easy as signaling for a turn. Once you activate the right turn signal, your system will turn on and the camera will come on automatically. You can simply press the button on the end of the turn signal control. Want to turn Honda LaneWatch™ off? Press the button a second time to deactivate the feature. If you need to update Honda LaneWatch™ settings, you can follow these easy steps:
