Stu Berkley joins the Goshen Little League Board of Directors as well as Town of Goshen officials at the dedication ceremony for the scoreboard donated by Middletown Honda.

The day had finally come for the ribbon cutting of Goshen Little League’s new scoreboard! The scoreboard, which was donated by Middletown Honda, was officially unveiled on Saturday, June 23rd at 10:30 AM.

The towering solar powered unit is located at 118 Craigville Road at the Little League field in the Town of Goshen. The wirelessly controlled board is both convenient and easy to use with a clear, user-friendly display and solar powered capabilities that will save the league time and money in the future. At the event on Saturday the crowd grew and grew for it was the All-Star game for the boy’s league. What a great way to end the season!

Stu Berkley, General Manager of Middletown Honda, spoke about how the community and the little league both make significant contributions to give local youth the opportunities to truly learn and grow in a safe and caring environment. President of the Goshen Little League, Drew Whitney thanked Middletown Honda for their unwavering support and dedication to improving the park and giving the kids something that they can actually use. The sun was shining, the ribbon was cut and after the dedication ceremony it was time to play ball! Berkley had the honor of throwing the first pitch, which glided right over the plate. The game began with announcing each all-star and the national anthem. As the game went on the scoreboard gleamed in the sunlight as it showed spectators the status of the game. We at Middletown Honda thank the community for their continued support and business and their dedication to youth programs such as the Town of Goshen Little League.
